During my semester study abroad in Malaga, Spain, my program had a Spring Break trip to Morocco. I just had to take this picture while in a Moroccan market because on this side street there seemed to be so much peace and calm. It was quite a juxtaposition from the yelps and chaos of the marketplace. The marketplace was unlike any market I was familiar with. You walked through all kinds of smell--both wonderful and horrible. And also had to move aside so that Moroccan that were more in a hurry than the man in this picture could push through with their donkeys full of merchandise.
